|
The fast and reliable documentation of
gel-electrophoresis experiments is one of the most frequently applied
bioimaging techniques in molecular biology labs today.
Most important dyes in use are Ethidium bromide, Sybr green and Sybr gold for DNA and RNA and Rhuthenium or Sypro- dyes for proteins. Commassie- and silver- staining are colorimetric methods used in gel-documentation. |

Stella is an Imaging System for Gel Documentation and provides additionally optimized features for precise measurement and evaluation applications and for multilabelling with dyes of different wavelengths. With the variable excitation unit, raytest has a unique system for fluorescence applications with different distinct wavelengths of the visible light spectrum. |
